i went thru a pack weekend... the whole of my weekend was spent in MIL's hse due to kenduri this coming weken... darl was bz buat bangsal, with help with other ikhwan.
some brief story regarding this ikhwan. my IL's famili is actually involve in tarikat. what is tarikat, i have no specific definition, but i know that Rasulullah is the lead of the original tarikat. Harun Din also is a tarikat leader. Tarikat has its own group, has its own leader (tok guru) and Rasulullah is the originalist (founder). IL's famili followed PakSu who was actually followed one Tok Guru from Rembau (died already). In tarikat, all of the followers are called ikhwan and we supposed to be bounded with each other. we took specfic zikir from PakSu which given from one kitab. I also has my own which i has to perform the zikir twice a day (after subuh and maghrib). every thursday we have the zikir after maghrib, we even have it after solat raya. darl never told me abt this b4 we got married, 1st time when i went to surau (beside IL's hse), i was quite shocked and surprise... takut pun ada but when time flies, i was ok and used to it...
what i was not agreed with, is the bonded between ikhwan. pak su always told that among ikhwan, we shud help each other, take care with each other, but what i see during our preparation for this kenduri, there nothing that other ikhwan help. we mainly did everything by ourselves. only yesterday, few ikhwan came, which i was so surprise seeing them.... like darl said last nite, otw back to puchong, they shud be able to do more with that number of ikhwan, but what they was able to build yesterday was a 1/2 build bangsal for potong2 daging ngan bawang... that's all... even darl said, he olone can do better than that....hehheh... nhow, still kena appreciate kan...
that is what i wonder abt this ikhwan. of coz there is no doubt abt tarikat coz it is Rasul's punye ibadah but i was wondering abt the bonded... actually kesian kat MIL and FIL, coz they hardly involve with other org kg, so unlike macam kenduri kat Raub, where abah will call all related frens and org kg and did mesyuarat for tetapkan keja, a mth b4 kenduri kawin, here all kena buat sendiri... apparently FIL tak suka gi kenduri org kg and that shows why nobody bother abt our kenduri... anyway, i do hope everything will go smooth and steady.... insyaallah....
SIL is now xcited with baju kawin yg dah siap but not as per expectation... she was quite frustrated, ngan baju yg pendek then so dull sbb baju tu putih and no manik2 or any beads at all... so, i suggested to jahit manik and she did that yesterday... looks better sbb die nikah mlm, so she need something that menyerlah sket.. kalau tak, org lain akan overshadow la..hehheh.... (like me)....:D
